Veneto is proud of its long wine-producing and gastronomic traditions: in order to discover its typical products, we can start a wine and food itinerary from Bardolino, near the Garda Lake, which is famous for the red wine named after the city. We can visit its beautiful landscapes and the wine museum.
After that, we can continue the tour through the views of the Colli Euganei, where we can get in touch with nature, art and spirituality while we visit the vineyards and the wine cellars. This area is also well-known for its monasteries, cathedrals, Venetian villas and gardens.
The territory of Marca Trevigiana is the homeland of Prosecco, that is produced in Valdobbiadene and in Conegliano. We can taste the famous local wines while we visit the churches, the villas and antiques palaces.
Cheeses in Veneto are very remarkable, especially in the area of the Belluno Dolomites, from Alpago to Cortina, where we can taste the traditional PDO Asiago cheese, PDO Montasio, Schiz and Caciotta.
To discover all the features of radicchio you must visit the provinces of Treviso, Padova and Venezia. You can go through radicchio’s fields and taste the most renowned varieties like PGI red Treviso radicchio or the PGI streaked radicchio variety from Castelfranco and Chioggia.
